It was interesting to learn about the very beginning of Morgans past, about how it all started and how it all began for her. What happened, sucked, and I do mostly blame the woman, but Hunter’s at fault as well, and Morgan realizes this. When she discovers a Book of Shadows that once belonged to her ancestor, Rose MacEwan, she makes some shocking discoveries about Rose and her cat.
They knew what she had done and they were afraid. I hated every minute of it and was constantly rooting for Rose to die. While glimpsing the thousands of books that mark the walls, Morgan iternan taken over by a sensation. In this book we learn the story of an ancestor of Morgan, the first person who created a black wave. This means that a lot of the tension depends on the witch hysteria rather than Rose herself. I thought it was great. The start was boring and it was hard to see the relevance to the previous oriins, it’s hard really to see why they dedicated an entire book tierban it even now, but it was really interesting. She concocted a drink that would make Siobhan incredibly ill.
She was accused as a witch and was sentenced to death. It was really heartbroken when, only in the prologue, we learn that in a moment of weakness Hunter kissed another woman injuring Morgan so much just because he xate upset because of his parents.
